FAQ's

Cedars Business Services is a licensed third-party collection agency and member of ACA International.

When an account, such as a ticket, loan or bill, becomes past due and the original creditor is unable to collect the amount owed, they may hire our company for assistance resolving the balance.

If you have been contacted by one of our representatives, it is because we have received information that potentially links you to a debt that has been assigned to our agency for collection.

If you believe we are contacting you in error or you would like to stop receiving communications, please let us know via our  online contact form.

Even if you think you do not owe the debt in question or cannot pay right now, it is important to speak with a debt collection agent and let them know your situation, as ignoring or avoiding the issue is unlikely to stop collections efforts. The collector can help you understand whether the debt is your responsibility, answer any questions you may have and explain your options, including available payment options.

At Cedars Business Services, we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and want to work with you to resolve the debt in a way that works for everyone. No matter what your situation is, we can help you find the best solution.

Call us at 800-980-3357, Monday – Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time for immediate assistance. Or, if you’d prefer not to talk to us, you can email customersupport@cedarsbiz.comsubmit a contact form or make a payment online.

No, this is not a scam. Cedars Business Services is licensed in accordance with state laws. Please check with your local state regulators for our licensing credentials.

Cedars Business Services is not a debt buyer. In most cases, our company has been contracted to assist in collecting debt by the party you originally incurred the debt with.

Sometimes you may not recognize a debt because the company you owe the debt to (the creditor) has gone through a name change or has been acquired by a larger company. In these cases, the debt is still legitimate.

If you believe the debt we have contacted you about is not yours, our representatives can help.

If you have questions or need additional information, please contact us online or call 800-804-3353 for assistance. It may help to send us any documentation you have by email (customersupport@cedarsbiz.com) or mail (5230 Las Virgenes Road, Suite 210, Calabasas, CA 91302).

At Cedars Business Services, we believe in protecting consumer rights and seek to align our business with fair, transparent collections practices at every step.

To learn more about your rights as a consumer, please visit our Resources Page.

Our professional collections representatives are trained to be compliant with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and will never use unfair or abusive acts or practices to try to collect a debt.

If you believe a debt collector is being unfair to you, we encourage you to contact the CFFB, the FTC, or your state’s attorney general. You can also contact us directly – we take all complaints seriously and welcome the opportunity to address your concerns.
